Dr Natasha Sayer

Private transformation for outward excellence. Fewer regrets. Better decisions. A life you can stand behind.

Dr Natasha Sayer works privately with founders and senior decision-makers at moments of significant transition or consequence — business exit, succession, relationship separation, or reinvention — when success has been achieved but clarity in your future is at risk.

Combining the rigour of clinical psychology with the precision of executive strategy, this work offers a discreet, evidence-based partnership to support clear thinking, refined decision-making, and composed movement through change.

For founders and principals whose lives are in motion:

  • Founders preparing for or processing a business exit

  • Career-focused leaders redefining identity after success

  • Individuals navigating separation or relationship change alongside significant responsibility

This work can sit positively alongside family, legal, and financial advisory structures to quietly support the human side of complex systems.

Transitions often distort judgement; particularly when financial, relational, and emotional complexity converge. At this level, decisions carry second- and third-order consequences that unfold over years. These moments offer unusual leverage and opportunity to choose a new future.

Founders often describe this period as including:

  • The making of irreversible decisions while emotionally loaded

  • Feeling privately overwhelmed while needing to appear composed

  • Experiencing identity shifts faster than they can integrate

  • Having no neutral place to think without influence or judgement

  • Being surrounded by advisors, but none focused on them as an individual

  • Fearing a mistake that cannot be undone

This is not weakness. It is the psychology of high-consequence change.

This is not coaching, therapy, or advisory. I am a Clinical Psychologist and professionally trained as an Executive Coach. This allows me to attend to emotional responses, identity shifts, and decision-making together, rather than in isolation. Most disciplines focus on one of these layers in isolation. My work integrates all three. In practice this means we:

  • Reduce emotional reactivity before it distorts judgement

  • Identify the underlying drivers shaping your choices

  • Establish internal stability before you act externally

You move forward with clarity and authorship, rather than reaction. This work exists not only to support you individually, but to mitigate the personal and relational risks that arise when decisions are made under emotional and cognitive load.

Our core outcome: Psychological precision when the stakes are high.

As this work unfolds, people often notice:

  • Thinking feels calmer, even when situations are complex

  • Priorities become clearer

  • Presence feels steadier in high-stakes conversations

  • Fewer decisions are driven by fear, anger, or urgency

  • A renewed sense of internal direction and authorship

This is not a space for passive agreement, but for careful and honest reflection and challenge. It is establishing, or re-establishing the clarity, steadiness, and dignity in periods that could easily become chaotic.

Version You was created for founders and principals at moments of inflection — when success has been achieved but is no longer sufficient to guide what comes next. My background as a Doctor of Clinical Psychologist with more than two decades of experience allows me to work safely and rigorously with emotional complexity and identity change. My experience in executive contexts ensures this work remains grounded in responsibility, consequence, and real-world decision-making.

I work privately with a small number of people at a time. The work is quiet, precise, ethical, and confidential. I do not publish testimonials in order to protect client confidentiality. However, I can share the qualitative and quantitative indicators I use to ensure this work is effective during our initial conversation.

I maintain professional rigour as a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Executive Coach, with formal training including an MA in Experimental Psychology (University of Oxford), a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Masters in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care, a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and executive coach training with the University of Cambridge and RTW.

I am registered with the HCPC, chartered with the BPS, accredited with ACAT, and am an Associate Fellow of the BPS, as well as a member of the BPS Divisions of Clinical and Coaching Psychology, BABCP, and ACBS.
